Armand de Brignac Champagne launched the Dynastie Collection, which is known to be an extremely rare collection Armand de Brignac Brut Gold Champagne. The collection is a limited edition of only 109 bottles, that includes a wide range of bottle formats starting from the standard 750-milliliter to the exclusive 30-liter. The Armand de Brignac Dynastie collection consists of nine different bottle sizes.

It is an exclusive drink at the Hakkasan Las Vegas, the new five-level culinary and nightlife city at MGM Grand Hotel & Casino, which is the first nightlife complex in the world to offer the new collection of champagne. The casino sells the entire package for a lofty price tag of $500,000 making the collection the world’s most extravagant bottle service experience.

CHANEL’S PARIS BOMBAY METIERS D’ART EVENT

LUXURY fashion designer Chanel held it’s annual Chanel Metiers d’Art event on Tuesday in a dazzling show at Paris’sGrande Palais.  The event took an Indian theme with models adorned with Indian accessories including head-jewellery and turbans showing off the pre-fall 2012 Chanel collection.

Guests sat at banquet tables which doubled up as a runway, complete with chandeliers and luxury candles. The tables were complete with gold-plated cutlery and had waiter service throughout the event.

GUCCI HOST CHILDREN’S PARTY

  

LUXURY fashion designer Gucci have thrown a children’s party in Singapore to mark a tie-up with the Mainly I Love Kids (MILK) charity organisation.

The event raised over £25,000 for disadvantaged children with a candy filled bash for a few privileged kids. Gucci have pledged that every e-card  (hand-drawn by budding children artists) sent to a friend online they will give the MILK charity £12. The fun filled party included a a magic show, balloons, sweet treats and even a runway presentation of Gucci’s latest winter clothing for children.

Amazing Ceramic Sculptures by Johnson Tsang

You have probably seen some of these stunning sculptures and wonder who is the author. The author of these really wonderful sculptures is Johnson Tsang, a Hong Kong sculptor specializing in ceramics, stainless steel sculpture and public art works. Tsang’s works mostly employ realist sculptural techniques accompanied by surrealist imagination, integrating the two elements, “human beings” and “objects”, into creative themes. Since 1993, Tsang’s works have been exhibited in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea, Spain and Switzerland and collected by local and overseas museums and collectors. Take a look!

1,000 Roses for Zweibrücken by Ottmar Hörl

Zweibrücken in Germany is known as the City of Roses since located there The Rose Garden of Princess Hildegard of Bavaria grows more than 60,000 roses of 2,000 varieties. Inspired by this fact German artist Ottmar Hörlcreated a massive public art installation entitled “1,000 Roses for Zweibrücken”. For one month, 1,000 plastic red roses have been arranged in a visually striking grid-like pattern on the ground. The artist says, “Above and beyond its symbolic power, the rose thus becomes a ‘social sculpture’ in the sense of a stimulant for communication.” The flowers averaged about 12 inches wide and were offered for sale as a memento of the memorable installation.

The King Edison Pendant Lamp

Designed by Young & Battaglia, the King Edison pendant lamp combines whimsy with functionality. A tiny functioning chandelier is suspended inside a hand blown clear glass bulb with satin chrome fittings and hung on a braided silken cable. The name, King Edison, is tongue-in-cheek nod to the regal design of the chandelier and the lightbulb’s original inventor. The piece is made in England by Mineheart, the design consultant company and online store launched by Brendan Young and Vanessa Battaglia in 2010.

Porthole Glass Infuser

The Porthole is the name of the glass infuser for liquids designed by Crucial Detail design studio in Chicago. It was a very successful project on crowdfunding site Kickstarter. Made of iron and glass, the beautiful infusion vessel can be used to make all kinds of drinks, but also as a work of art. Cocktails, salad dressings, coffee, tea and other infusions, all this can be done with The Porthole vessel. Just load it with fruit, herbs or whatever else you want, press the glass plates against one another and pour the liquid through the opening.

SUMMER FLOWER ARRANGEMENTS

Incorporating fresh fruits and fresh flowers for floral arrangements are a perfect way of achieving summery look for your event/party.

One idea is to find a white color vase that has a basket look to it, as shown in the above picture, and fill your vase with fresh green apples and green grapes in combination with two tones roses; off white and yellow roses. The color combinations for the above table settings are off white, yellow and green. As a result the fruits and flowers have been chose to match the overall concept and color palette of the party.

You can use other fruits and different type of flowers to achieve the look you want to creat for your party.

DRAPERIES IN LIUE OF CENTER PIECES

In the process of developing your concept for any event, you need to determine where do you want the guests focus to be. 

One fabulous idea is to create and design an elaborated drapery and piping in lieu of large flower center pieces.

The above picture is perfect example of creating a stunning design just by focusing more on drapery.

To achieve the similar look to the above picture, you need to develop and design the following steps:

The movable/decorative columns need to be structured and placed in the event space. The positioning of those columns depend on the overall design concept and it should be drawn on architectural scale for accurate structuring. These columns can be decorated with hanging crystals and they are used for support and hanging of draperies. Use silver color columns, pale pink and pale blue sheer satin or silk drapes to be hunged and draped from the structured columns.

Use white color for the rest of your design decor, settings and elements in order to achieve the full focus on your drapery design.

CREATIVE CRUDITE DISPLAYS

Traditionally the vegetable crudite served on big trays or large baskets. However there are many other creative ways that crudite can be displayed or pressented in the parties. First of all crudite are perfect choice as one of the options for cocktail hour of any party, especially during summer season.

One creative idea for displaying and presenting your crudite is to use hurricane or cylinder candle holder for inserting your various vegetables. First, pour your crudite dip in to your glass candle holder and then insert your favorite vegetables in the the galss. Second, display your glasses on  the chosen candeblara. Add touch of sparks  by adding crystal decorative elements. Just to let you know that each of these glasses are designed for individual serving. 

So, go ahead and design your crudite display for your summer party and event.

FRUITY PLACE CARD HOLDERS

Use fresh green apples to display your escort cards, and place cards/seating cards.

You can design your cards in shape of leaf and attach it to the green apple by gold color pin, or you can just print your cards and place them free standing in between your displayed green apples or even you can print your cards and glue them on to your green apples. The possibilities are endless.

Crystal Wonder Land

Inspiration: This is to give you an idea on how to create an intimate, warm, and elegantly sparkling white dinner party.  

Concept: Crystal Wonder Land

One great idea for designing an intimate yet elegantly sparkling dinner party is to incorporate a lot of crystal design elements in combination with clear glass and white color scheme decorative items and white floral arrangements. 

You can use long rectangular table with white silk table linens, white china dishes, crystal chandeliers in different shapes and forms hanging down the dinner tables and white fluffy furs as your chair covers. In order to put the guests focus on the crystal chandeliers which are the main focus on this concept and to create a propotionately designed table, it is necessary to use short stem flowers for your floral arrangements.
You can arrange short stem white roses in crystal displays and spread them propotionately on the tables as well as placing two different type of candles; white pillar candles and white taper candles on crystal candle holders.

This concept - Crystal Wonderland - creates a magical moment for your guests.

The client wanted antique and vintage look to be created in the hall way of their private home. We used gold color metal framing tables with glass top, smoked small hurricane candle holders in combination with gold color painted rectangular metal displays for our flower arrangements. We used soft white roses for our flowers and we have accented the wall with beautiful antique fininshed gold framed mirror. In addition, we dressed the wall with light green satin drapes as a first layer and dressed the first layer drapery with sheer stain pale green drapery as a second layer to complete the vintage look for our client event. The result was fabulous!
